Atmosphere, inspiration, creativity all form part of our two days fun filled irresistible combination. It shows the success achieve during the Dutch Cake Event. This is an event that will grow to become an International Cake Event attracting more and more visitors and participants annually. You may ask why? People are always searching for new inspirational ideas that feed their hunger for more knowledge. The Dutch Cake Event will continue to expand and offer new ideas and inspirations appealing to visitors and venue holders; especially because it is now being held an entire weekend!  

 

The positive reactions and compliments from the first edition of the Dutch Cake Event in January 2009 have prompted us to make it a full weekend event. This will enable more cake decorating lovers to visit our event. This cake event which will be taking place in the south of The Netherlands will have an even bigger international influence over a 2 day period. Grow with us and take part in THE secret to success in the cake world!

Het Suiker Atelier is the initiator and organizer of The Dutch Cake Event which will take place on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 January 2010. Interesting demonstrations will be provided and fun-filled workshops will be offered. Visitors can refresh their knowledge and touch up on their skills whilst a variety of cake decorating competition will be taking place which will be judged by local cake decorating professionals and international guests.

 

The Dutch Cake Event is a big event for hobby bakers and professional cake decorating specialist. This combination creates a balance and benefit for both parties. The organizers will plant a seed to stimulate an enjoyable atmosphere which will stimulate the urge to shop! This is why we would like to stimulate and encourage vendors to join this exclusive

concept for which the key factor is creativeness. We will provide a comprehensive advertisement for international and regional cake lovers.

Workshops & Demonstrations:

A variety of hands on workshops and Demonstrations will be provided by national and international guests throughout the whole day (both days). Our guests for 2010 will include Karen Goble & Lisa Slatter from the U.K.

 

Vendors:

Venue Holders are permitted to present and sell their products. The hiring of your venue will also include an additional area with no extra cost enabling you to provide on-going demonstrations throughout this two day event. There will also be the possibility to provide demonstrations on the stage for a larger public viewing
 

Goody Bag:

We will be giving the first 250 visitors a Goody Bags consisting of products and information just like we did at our first Dutch Event in 2009
